It got really hot again this week. And the struggle what to wear without sweating too much is once again crucial. Especially if you wanna dress more formal this can be quite a challenge.
Jeans shorts and t-shirt work great for a beach look or a quick walk to the pool. But for the city or an important meeting they might not be very appropriate. For such a matter the outfit I show you below should be a better choice. Of course you can wear short pieces and show bare skin (I think). But my advice is to pay attention to the material and the cut of your clothes. It can help you look more elegant and formal. And that doesn’t mean you need to have the most expensive and luxurious clothes. Rather it’s about the right combination. Take the outfit below as an example: The skirt I’m wearing I actually got for pretty cheap (CHF 24.90 on sale at Zara). But it’s nice material and well made so it looks more high-end and therefore more classy and sophisticated. So is the crop top. It’s a CHF 15 shirt from H&M but the color, cut and combination make it look more expensive.
What can help you look more classy is combine your outfit with a luxurious accessory. (I’m sure everyone has once high-end piece in their closet). It can lift the appearance of all the other pieces you’re wearing, even if they are from a cheap store. Below I combined my bargain finds with a nice leather bag as a statement piece. And I think it makes a huge difference. What do you think? Hope you like this look and get to enjoy the nice weather outside.
