Long Sweater Dress + Behind the Scenes of a Blogger Photo Shoot

Did you ever wonder how I take the pictures for my blog? Well, let’s be honest here. As already said once in this post, I’m pretty much an amateur when it comes to photography. I usually have my mom, dad, sister or a friend taking my pictures whenever I planed a little outfit shooting. Of course I would love to have a professional photographer at my side, like I did in this shot or also in this one (plus of course in my very last outfit post from London). But this is something that’s I first of all cannot afford and secondly cannot organize currently. (My life is very busy right now as you might remember from this post.)

That’s why for now I just work with family members and friends for my pictures. You also need to know, my shooting ideas usually come up pretty spontaneously, so I’m really glad these people are often at my side when I need them.

Behind the Scenes Vol. 1

Like my friend Bianca, (from strassenpuls.ch), who took the pictures below for me. We work together at the same company. So occasionally we organize little fashion shootings during our lunch breaks, where we take pictures of each other’s outfits. That’s of course the perfect match ’cause we can both benefit from this. (So thanks again girl, it’s always so much fun doing this with you!) :-)

And for all of you procrastinators out there: Whether you’d like to start a blog or something similar, don’t feel like you need to have the perfect gear and professional support. Just start with what you have already and go from there. It will develop with time and effort… I’m sure! xoxo

You don’t need a professionnal, your pictures are gorgeous and you sure know how to pose!
I am also asking friends and family members for mine but I wish I had someone more committed with me so I wouldn’t have to constantly ask…

    Great outfit by the way!

My boyfriend currently takes my photos but he’s NOT a photographer and is usually very reluctant haha. My dream is to meet another blogger with a similar schedule and shoot with each other, someone starting out just like me. I think that’s the best! You don’t get that reluctance that you get from non blogger friends and you get a lot of feedback at the same time. And it’s always nice to collaborate with like minded people!
