I’m not the most elegant girl in the world. Actually, I used to be more of a Tomboy, hanging out in my band shirts, jeans and leather jacket all the time. In the last few years I never wanted to wear skirts. I just didn’t really like to show my bare legs. It made me feel uncomfortable. But lately, I’ve been becoming more confident and discovering my feminine side quite a bit. I also started to wear skirts and dresses again. It’s a great feeling actually.
Anyway, this outfit, I wore out to a birthday dinner. To fit the event I wanted to make a dressy appearance. Therefore I decided to wear my black pencil skirt. As the skirt is high-waisted, I combined it with a striped sequined crop top. To keep the outfit down-to-earth, I topped it with my leather jacket. Also I went for a large shopping bag instead of a tiny clutch to not look too fancy. Because the smaller the bag, the more elegant your outfit looks, (in my opinion). I didn’t want to over do it and make myself feel uncomfortable. Looking back now, I might have chosen another bag though… But the party was fun ;-)
Furthermore I’m wearing black suede pumps with a sexy strap around the ankle, a mix of my everyday jewelry and my Ray Ban sunglasses.
